The SAP suite includes solutions for ERP, SRM, HCM, SCM, CLM and Business Intelligence. Individuals possess skills in SAP process design and configuration, SAP design, development, integration, testing and deployment, education and training, and SAP technical architecture. The architect can define technology solutions for SAP applications including application extensions, interfaces, reports, conversions and development, execution and operations architecture components. • Twelve years of progressive IT experience designing enterprise systems with an emphasis on globally available applications • Eight years of experience in SAP functional design roles, including ECC 6, SRM, CLM, BW 7 and other SAP modules • Experience across SAP systems and components (e.g. Portal, ECC, SRM, MDM, MII, PI, CE, and BI with BO and BWA) • Understanding of Data Governance and preferably two or more years of experience with SAP MDM specifically • Experience with migrations to SAP from other ERP systems (JD Edwards) is a great asset • Strong knowledge of multi system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies • Strong experience as primary functional leader on successful large SAP projects with the ability to manage resources and multiple projects simultaneously with multiple complete life cycle implementation of SAP (with at least 8 years experience) • Desired experience with integration of SAP with other systems such as line of business applications for Sales (like SalesForce.com) and Manufacturing (like Data Collection) as well as integration with Business Partners • Experience with/knowledge of the Software AG WebMethods integration platform helpful • Experience with SAP NetWeaver application development that includes application development skills in ABAP, WebDynpro ABAP, WebDynpro Java (or .NET). Preference to those with large/complex implementation experience in SAP ECC 6.0, CE 7.1, BW 7.0 or higher, Business Objects 3.2 or higher • SAP certification in one or more SAP core modules (e.g. FICO, SD, HCM, CRM or BI) preferred • Published SAP white papers or presentations on SDN, SUG or similar forums preferred The Enterprise Architect will have overall ownership and responsibility for architectural design and documentation at SAP landscape and technical reference model level. Key Responsibilities • Drive stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy including threats, gaps, assets, processes, information, and IT projects with capability delivery cadence. The Enterprise Architect will apply this knowledge to drive business and IT alignment. • Responsible to link the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy, and document this using multiple architectural models or views. • Ensures that the current and future architecture needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. • Operates across organizational and computing "silos" to drive common approaches and expose information assets and processes across the enterprise. • Responsible for owning, defining and guiding the creation of standards and models and enforces the application of these standards across the organization. • Enterprise Architect will be responsible to complete and deliver an architecture that supports the most efficient and secure IT environment meeting a company's business needs. • Leads a group of the Segment Architects and/or Solution Architects related to a given program. • Ensures the appropriate frameworks exist within the company and are aligned with relevant standards to identify, assess, mitigate, manage, communicate, and monitor IT-related risks. • Handles special projects, as assigned. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from accredited university in business, technical or equivalent field with 12+ years’ experience in business processes and systems architecture and design. • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman. • Certification in one or more architecture / information technology disciplines (infrastructure, application, security, information, or business architecture) preferred. • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement high level systems strategies. • Broad and deep knowledge of available technologies, systems design and business processes. • Demonstrated high degree of business acumen and understanding of business applications used in a large, diverse business organization. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. • Excellent teaming and collaboration skills.
