*System Administrator*

Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Operations, the Systems
Administrator will be responsible for the administration of IT data center
operations.  The TSG Infrastructure Operations team is responsible for
providing and supporting core data center services globally, collaborating
with regional and local IT, and providing guidelines for core technology
builds throughout the global network of Bain offices.  The Systems
Administrator will work closely with other teams and will be responsible
for all related critical service levels, delivery of troubleshooting and
problem resolution (ITSM) in accordance with agreed Service Levels covering
the standard hardware, software platforms and approved application
portfolio.  The Systems Administrator will participate in an on-call
rotation with other team members.



*Desired Requirements:*

   - Minimum 4years experience in information technology.
   - Ideal candidate will have experience in world class computer
   operations processes and procedures.
   - Solid knowledge of implementing and administering Windows Servers
   2003/20082008R2, Exchange Server, MS SQL Servers, VMware ESX 4.1,
   SharePoint 2010, and Citrix.
   - Solid understanding of SAN and other storage technologies.
   - Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills client
   management, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills are a must
   - Demonstrated leadership.
   - Proven project management skills.
   - Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
   - Attention to detail and priority/time management.
   - Strong customer service, analytic, communication (oral and written)
   and troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
   - High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous
   job experience

*Qualifications*

*Education:*

   - Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated interest in technology, technology
   issues and analytical analysis.
   - Certifications a plus; Microsoft MCSE/MSCITP



*Responsibilities & Duties*.

   - Manage and maintain corporate-wide network of Windows servers.
   - Manage backup/restore procedures.
   - Work with the team to establish standards, policies and procedures to
   provide high quality deployment and support to ensure that Bain receives
   full functionality and benefits from the products and services in IT
   infrastructure services.
   - Develop and monitor policies, procedures and standards to ensure the
   department meets system reliability/availability, data integrity, security,
   and business continuity requirements.
   - Manage all day to day aspects of the IT data center operations and
   support center services to ensure that IT Operations and Services meets or
   exceeds customer service levels.
   - Implement and maintain an IT change management strategy.
   - Implement and maintain IT security policies as they relate to
   information systems while maintaining high standards in legal compliance,
   security, and IT governance.
   - Perform on-call duties, system implementations and upgrades that may
   occur after normal business hours and on weekends as required to minimize
   business impact
   - Work with senior IT management to evaluate projects, establish
   priorities and communicate timelines to deploy technology solutions.
   - Drive clear, fast, open and accurate communications up, down, and
   across the organization to align project status and expectations.
   - Proactively work with internal customers to determine IT requirements
   for services, establish service levels, standards, and solicit feedback.
   - Responsible for helping to establish, implement and adhere to the
   corporate technology standards and guidelines.
   - Ongoing technical support consists of working with the Regional
   support teams to address performance and reliability issues for core IT
   infrastructure services deployed throughout the organization
   - Other duties as assigned or as responsibilities dictate.
