*Title: *C++ Lead Developer/ Project Manager Loc: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: 1+ Years Rate: DOE * * *Job Description* C++ Lead Developer/ Project Manager that can/will develop C++. The Sr. Lead Developer/Analyst will assist other developers with work assignments. Eventually, this will involve both on & offshore resources. This individual will be required to develop C++ code w/deliverables. The plan is to have on and offshore developers who will need guidance during their tenure w/this acct. This lead will be coordinating these team members. * * *Must-Have* 1. Results Orientation & Energy 2. Availability from early morning to late evening to remove obstacles and provide information to both delivery management, sales and offshore/on-site team. 3. Willingness to work sporadically on weekends to handle questions and/or issues that occur on project. 4. Willingness to take on extra tasks to facilitate coordination of activities with client and on-site/offshore team (e.g. – scheduling of rooms for interviews, follow-up with client Accounting department to reconcile overdue invoices and POs associated with SOWs). 5. Ability to follow-up on expected client deliverables. 6. Foster a high energy atmosphere mixing both a focus on meeting deadlines and fun. 7. Ability to organize/categorize data from multiple sources (e.g. – email, verbal, documentation, etc.) 8. Clear Documentation 9. Create clear and precise documentation, eliminating ambiguity and focused on providing information that can be translated into actionable items. 10. Effective Communication 11. Clear, concise communication focused on giving detailed instructions to offshore development team. 12. Clear, concise communication to client focused on providing detailed knowledge of the system (from a functional specification level), basic risk analysis, identifying project issues and providing regular progress updates (both formally and informally). 13. Clear, concise communication to delivery manager focused on providing detailed information on why technical requests need to be satisfied, understanding of the intricacies of client relationship and accurate forecasts of upcoming roadblocks for the teams. 14. Ability to deliver open, honest and accurate communication to all stakeholders even when the information is unfavorable. 15. Stakeholder Analysis 16. Identify key stakeholders and interview them to understand expectations and deliverables. 17. Ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels of an organization (i.e. – Development, Engineering, Client Resource Management, Client Project Management, Client Accounting, Fujitsu Delivery Management, Fujitsu Sales, Fujitsu Recruiting). 18. Performance Management 19. Provide clear and timely feedback to project team members in regards to performance and expectations. 20. Provide clear and timely feedback to client in regards to expected deliverables. 21. Schedule Management 22. Ability to create optimal schedules based upon estimates provided by Technical Consultants, integration with other client development teams and risk contingencies. 23. Cost Management 24. Ability to provide accurate budgets for fixed price projects using the LOMP spreadsheet. 25. Experience using the PFTT to monitor budget. *Desired Skills & Experience* *Nice-To-Have* 1. Contract Management 2. Understanding of the workflow for creating contracts with clients and knowledge of the expected deliverables for both Fujitsu and the client from an Accounting perspective. 3. Ability to create sales proposals for fixed price projects. 4. Analytical Thinking 5. Willingness to learn the basic steps for running the CAD-X system. 6. Willingness to learn the CAD-X functionality through interaction with the system, reading technical documentation and interaction with technical engineers. 7. Willingness to learn basic Linux commands. 8. Willingness to learn basic components for executing a Linux based system on a Windows based platform. 9. Understanding of multiple Windows platform (i.e. - WinXP and Windows7). 10. Ability to review QA test plans for consistency and to meet format expectations. 11. Create functional specifications (testable, unambiguous requirements) based upon System Requirement Specification documents. 12. Create repository of team performance data to communicate issues and provide recommendations for resolutions.
