Title : SAP FICO Consultant Location: Pine Street, NY Duration: 6+ months contract This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into the client’s business environment in order to achieve client expected business results. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAPFinancials and Controlling to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. Design, configuration and testing of core FI/CO modules (GL, AP,AR, Special Ledgers, New GL and Period End Processes) Experience with ALE functionality Design, configuration and testing of Fixed Asset Experience with report writer and report painter Experience with Project System and Material Management. Experience and knowledge of key integration points with FI/CO modules Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients. Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs as it relates to Finance. Competent enough to evaluate, recommend and implement automation solutions to support activities of business unit. Good people/communication skills to interface with the user community and development teams facilitating technical and non-technical concepts Be a good team player and also be capable to lead mid/largeproject teams Exposure to Multinational , Multicurrency, GLOBAL implementationspreferred Preference with experience in Financial Asset Management Industry including Statutory & US GAAP reporting Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting) CMA, CFA or Chartered accounting designation; nice to have Minimum 5 years of SAP FI/CO configuration experience Must have at least two full lifecycle SAP implementationexperience (Project Preparation till Go-Live) Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards Business knowledge and process design skills Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations Strong organizational skills Able to collaborate with clients, and have a strong desire toexcel.
