“This position will join our .NET Development team in rewriting our Work
Force One (WF1) Web Application.
This position will be replacing a senior programmer position on the
project.
This senior programmer has been reassigned to another high priority
project.
WF1 is used by DEED to track federal and state employment training programs
and the results these programs achieve.
It has approximately 2,500 users consisting of staff internal to DEED as
well as external partner agencies that administer these job training
programs.
The team consists of 7 programmers, 6 BA's, 1 SQL DBA, 1 QA Tester, 1
Project Manager, a lead business representative, and a consulting
contractor.
The team uses a Scrum/Agile development process with daily meetings and
short "sprints" to complete objectives.
The selected .NET programmer will be joining at approximately the midpoint
of the project (October 1, 2012)for at least 9 months (June 30th, 2013) and
for up to 1 year will presumably start July 1, 2013.
If permits an additional 3 months. The WF1 rewrite project itself is
scheduled for completion during the 1st Quarter of 2014.”

Longer Duration of Contract who has worked from inception to production of
the project- not just small enhancements or fixes
They need someone who has worked in a team setting with few developers,
PMs, QAs, Bas not just like a one man team.
Design patterns (lot of UI pages involved)
ASP.Net, TFS, Visual studio
Agile/Scrum experiences
Good Communication Skills
