Need Network Admin Location: Washington, DC Duration: 12 Months 1. Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols. 2. Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls. 3. Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor. 4. Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation. 5. Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements. Skills/Qualifications: Network Performance Tuning, LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Problem Solving, Strategic Planning, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding REQUIREMENT : 2 Network Security Engineer: Location: Washington DC, Duration: 12 Months This position will be dedicated to implementing, monitoring and maintaining network and computer security policies with a focus on identifying network and application vulnerabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning and executing solutions to continuously improve the security of the entire Information Technology infrastructure. Required Skills: 1. Minimum of 5 years experience with Open Systems (Windows, Unix). 2. Minimum of 3 years experience in Network Security. 3. Must have a strong foundation in TCPIP and Network Security Principles, Security Certification (CISSP for example) is a plus. 4. Must have strong organizational, problem solving and team building skills. 5. Must have experience related to Security Incident handling, Forensics, and Remediation. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and time constraints. 7.
