Skills Required: • Should be able to demonstrate a quick learning curve on complex workflow based products. • Should know different types of testing, development methodologies, Testing Life cycle. • Ability to create and execute SQL queries. • Experience in reviewing requirements and developing test cases based on them for all layers of an application (Service tier, DB tier, and UI). • Self motivated, with appropriate business communication skills (verbal and written). • Comfort working individually or in group settings. • Multi tasking capability -- ability to thrive in a dynamic and fluid organization where priorities shift to respond to changing business needs. • Prior experience working in Agile team is desired • Excellent documentation skills. Job Responsibilities • The primary responsibilities of this role will focus on developing test strategies, plans and test cases for the investment compliance products. This individual contributor position will also be responsible for the execution of test plans and cases created. • Work seamlessly with highly skilled, deeply technical development team to develop valid test approaches and scenarios • Analyze functional and technical system design for testability • Collaborate with project team to understand and prioritize system testing efforts • Define test scenarios, create test plans and participate in the definition and execution of manual and/or automated test scripts • Mine and manipulate data to create test data and test cases for multiple or complex projects • Document expected results • Document all defects in HP Quality Center 10 and implement traceability between test cases and requirement documentation • Proactively communicating with developers and business analysts to resolve issues or questions pertaining to test creation or execution • Be an advocate for Quality throughout the project life cycle. Adhere to QA Standards and Best Practices • Conduct test plan reviews with the project team • Attend triage meetings to review and prioritize defects • Communicate regularly to project team on defects, issues and QA-specific news Experience: • 5+ years experience with the full spectrum of functional Quality Assurance testing and systems development lifecycles (Waterfall and/or Agile) a must • Demonstrated ability to execute QA and testing initiatives • Must possess working knowledge of financial services terminology • Ability to work effectively with product development and systems management • Must be able to work independently, with minimal instruction • Ability to execute automated and/or manual functional or non-functional tests and report results • Ability to use test automation frameworks and tools to automate manual tests • Strong attention-to-detail, problem solving and analytical skills required • Ability to work in a fluid environment and work effectively with team members across multiple work streams and work sites • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fluid organization where priorities shift to respond to changing business needs, ability to multi-task is a must • Demonstrated experience successfully working with internal partners and delivery of high quality deliverables • Tools: Quality Center 10, SOA Test, QTP preferred, LoadRunner, SoapUI • Proficient in writing SQL in Oracle many thanks Rakesh 617-614-7059 e-mail:rak...@vencesoft.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
