*Position Title: .Net Technical Team Lead Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL with 50% travel to Salt Lake City Duration: 6 months plus extensions/possible perm* We need .Net Technical lead who specializes MVC, EF, and WPF. This position will lead a small development team (3-5 people) based in Salt Lake City. We anticipate roughly 50% travel. *Purpose of position (summary):* The Technical Team Lead is a member of Applications Development Team in the Solutions Delivery Division. The position is responsible for the coordination, oversight and development of a complex, cutting edge, EF/MVC/WPF project. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with experience leading complex projects, breaking down and assigning development work, managing to timelines and deliverable and driving solutions to completion. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Leading a contracted development team on a complex project with remote on-shore resources. Provide architectural guidance and best practices Translate requirements into a Work Breakdown Structure Coordinate, govern, and review work product from the development team Monitor and report project status to stakeholders Adhere to and ensure development meets Grant Thornton’s coding standards Produce and update system documentation for processes, components and solutions Work closely with Operations, Service Desk and other IT groups for Change Management *QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS *Technical project management experience, managing to scope and timeline, includes planning and requirements gathering Must have proven experience in the following technologies: Entity Framework 4.0 or higher (preferred) or other ORM experience ASP .Net MVC Windows Presentation Foundation Designing complex SQL structures / code Eight or more years of experience in a medium to large size corporate environment Extensive experience with C# .NET system development.
