Duration is until 6/30/13 (end of fiscal year) with extension beyond that. Responsibilities: Develop technical architecture strategies to implement the system through definition of architecture solutions, design patterns, and reusable framework while taking technology trends and industry standards into consideration, Maintain control over the architecture lifecycle parallel to the project’s software development lifecycle. Proactively monitor the adherence of the implementation to the chosen architecture in all development iterations. Assess and evaluate new emerging products. Responsible for recommending technical solutions to the business stakeholders and IT senior management in aligning technologies to support business planning. Responsible for recruiting and managing team of resources in implementing the project. Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members/peers. Responsible for providing technical strategic presentation to executives and managers. Responsible for transferring system knowledge to end users at all levels. Skill Set Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline. 8 + years of experience working with J2EE/Java. 8 + years of experience in Adobe Flex/LiveCycle DS development. 12 + years of experience in architecting, engineering, and designing large scale enterprise applications, including strong in depth knowledge of all phases in SDLC. Solid knowledge and hands-on experience of application performance issues and improvement techniques. Advanced skills in engaging with business stakeholders to leverage technologies in providing solutions that address business needs and challenges. This includes business analysis, process modeling, systems development, and application implementation and deployment. Hands on project management experience including planning, scheduling and tracking projects in an agile environment. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills and ability to communicate with managers, and technical staff at all levels on technical strategies, implementation plans, project scope, and technology platforms. Good experience in managing onshore/offshore technical development team. Experience in evaluating and anticipating impact of technical solutions on existing systems and propose implementation plans in moving from the current technical architecture towards future state. Extensive presentation and training experience.
