*Job Description:*Job Title : Software Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 12 months+ (Have Contractors on their 2nd year there)
Responsibilities:
• Gather requirements from test teams and design efficient solutions
• Ability to ask the key questions when trying to understand problems and
determining correct design choices
• Involved in the entire process from back-end to front-end, and understand
the general flow of the data and be able to debug and problem solve
anywhere in that process
• Comfortable working with classes and functions in various server-side and
client-side programming languages
• Able to write modular code that is well-documented, scalable, and reusable
• Abstract the problem at hand and be able to produce a database schema
that will deliver solutions in an efficient and scalable fashion
• Optimize queries and tables to provide the best possible performance
without sacrificing data integrity or coverage
• Comfortable using the Model-View-Controller software architecture
• Generate well-formed web pages which have a strong emphasis on simple and
familiar UI design while still being complete and complex where desired
• Take on challenges to think outside the box when taking on projects,
while working well with other team members to achieve milestones within a
deadline driven environment
• Projects will be dynamic and can include any of the following: data
scrapers, data mining, reports, plotting, filtering, searching, or
presenting data
Qualifications:
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent)
• JavaScript/jQuery
• HTML/DOM
• PHP
• Python
• AJAX
• XML/XML Schema
• MySQL/MS SQL Server
• MySQL Workbench/MS SQL Management Studio
• MVC
• SVN
• Linux Shell
• Net Beans
•Good Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Knowledge of RF or 802.11 Wireless is a plus
("PHP Devel*" or "Software Engineer") and SQL and AJAX and (jquery or "j
query")
