Job Title: Application Developer Location: Hoffman Estates, IL Duration: 6+ months Job Requirements: -5-7 Years work experience in Java /J2EE is required. Work experience in the retail domain is added advantage. -Strong knowledge in Java programming language (Java1.4, Java6, Java 6 etc) -Strong knowledge in writing SQLs -Good understanding in J2EE 5, 6 (Servlet, EJB, JSP etc) -Experience and knowledge in Application servers preferably JBoss 5.x or Tomcat -Experience in deployment of web application -Good knowledge in MVC frameworks preferably Struts -Good knowledge in JavaScript and libraries like JQuery -Experience with Unix operating systems, Unix commands, shell scripting, MySQL and source control systems (Subversion) -Create focused analysis from large data sets at multiple levels – granular (item) to enterprise (trend) -Strong oral and written communication skills. -Strong Microsoft Office Skills – documentation -Ability to produce high quality work products under pressure and within deadlines. -Ability to prioritize project activities. -Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly. -Ability to construct an approach/plan for the execution of priorities. -Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
