*Java Developer with Tomcat Location:Boston, MA 6 month contract with extensions* *Must-haves* - 2-4 years of experience as a web based Java developer - Experience working with *Tomcat and Spring* - Experience working in an agile environment - Experience working in a true production environment - MySQL knowledge and exposure - Exposure to front end JSP, HTML, and Javascript *Plusses* - Experience working with software as a service *Role:* We are looking for a Java Developer to join a fast paced, start up environment. This candidate will be responsible for web-based Java development for a complex plaftorm. Although this is a small group, the environment is complex and we are looking for a candidate who has worked within a production environment previously. This candidate will be working with a MySQL database, Tomcat, Spring, and front end Java technologies. He or she should be extremely comfortable in an agile environment where requirements change constantly. This candidate will be part of a small team, responsible for writing code from scratch. He or she will work closely with the QA team and will be responsible for developing new features for the software platform, bug fixing, triage technical issues, and functional testing.
