Description: Senior SQL Database Analyst with Advanced SQL to join its growing team! This position is primarily responsible for the design, creation, and oversight of daily running processes to obtain and aggregate data for reporting as well as data integrity. Specific responsibilities, required skills, and preferred skills include, but are not limited to: *Responsibilities* - Work closely with technical and non-technical personnel - Gather business requirements and create business and detailed technical documentation - Strong communication skills with non-technical users and technical user -Advanced SQL Script writing - Create custom and edit existing SQL code/scripts - SSIS Package creation, maintenance and improvements - Create/Assist with SSRS and SSAS projects - Design, creation, and oversight of daily jobs, fixing daily processes/jobs that crash, and database/process performance tuning of their own queries - Efficiently and accurately manage database stored procedures, query/indexing performance tuning, and SSIS package/SSAS maintenance/improvements *Required Skills* - Senior Level SQL Database Analyst with Advanced SQL skills - Ability to create custom and edit existing SQL code/scripts - Ability to take the lead on discussions with end-users and analysts as needed to fully understand and document requirements for technical and non-technical users - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and Microsoft Shared Services including SSIS, SSAS and SSRS. - Manage multiple tasks in an environment where priorities can change frequently - Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills *Preferred skills* - Experience with large transactional data volumes - Experience with teradata environment -Understanding of television viewership - Ability to perform server updates, disaster recovery planning, and setting up server database backups - Ability to set up database security, adding new users, and creating database roles and groups - Experience with OOL-front end programming - Experience with/knowledge of data warehousing and/or data mart solutions *Other skills include: * - Work independently without requiring a lot of day to day management - Stay focused and meets with both hard and soft deadlines without constant reminders - Take direction well from others - Takes initiative, quick learner and self-directed** -- *Reshma Sr Technical Recruiter IVY Tech Solutions Inc 3403 N Kennicott Avenue, Suite B&C ArlingtonHeights, IL Phone: 847-387-8787 | Fax: 847 305 4382 res...@ivytechsol.us | www.ivytechsol.com Yahoo IM: reshma_ivy Gtalk : reshma.ivy* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
