• Attention to detail and ability to own/manage tasks to completion. • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Responsive to requests/input. • Ability to develop/learn new skills. Primary responsibilities will include migration of databases from 1 network to another and filling in for a Sr. DBA that will be out of the office for a month. • Creates, maintains MS SQL and MySQL/Oracle databases • Solves performance related problems with SQL and MySQL/Oracle databases • Monitors improves and innovates database capability • Participates in team meetings Database environment/infrastructure is made up of 70 -80 terabytes and 100 instances, including: • 45 Sql Server instances (Microsoft Server Clustered Services/MCSC). 2nd largest • 14 Oracle instances (RAC). Largest • 15 MySql (Heartbeat and ERBD).
