*Job Title: Data Warehouse ETL TesterLocation: Timonium, MDDuration: 6-12+ months* *MUST BE LOCAL FACE TO FACE REQUIRED.* *Principal ResponsibilitiesWe move billions of dollars in and out of the our system annually for more than 60 million users.Become a key member of our QA team in Timonium, MD.Use your background in Development and QA to perform highly technical testing across a suite of financial products.Work closely with a cross-functional team including business leaders, development engineers, scrum masters, and project managers to execute testing within an extremely fast-paced agile environment.Leverage your SQL and DB programming skills to develop data-driven test cases.Work closely with Data Warehouse ad BI developers to isolate, reproduce, and research defects.Participate in test case reviews, database design and discussion, and DW application reviews.* *Required:Comprehensive understanding of Data Warehouse, BI and Data Management concepts (including dimensional data models, data warehousing, operational data stores, etc).Experience (at least 3 years) working with and testing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) applications , Informatica experience preferred, other tools or techniques consideredExperience (at least 3 years) using and testing Business Intelligence applications, including reporting, dashboards, alerts and other BI deliverables. Microstrategy experience is preferredUnderstanding of how to translate source/target mappings, analytics requirements and other artifacts into test plans and test cases to validate the quality of DW deliverables (including Data Warehouse and ODS tables, BI reporting)Extensive experience with reading and validating data in multiple data sources and targets (different file formats (CSV, fixed, ASCII, EBCDIC, packed, XML) and different databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, Teradata)Oracle 10G or higher experience preferred, mainframe and Unix file experience preferred.Strong SQL knowledge and experience.
