However having the code knowledge is beneficial to trouble shoot the issues. What are the imperative skills which each candidate should have? – web service and .net environment knowledge, Oracle sql knowledge *Role responsibilities* Develop Database scripts to modify data in the databases Trouble shooting code, test, debug, and document applications Participate in development, testing, and maintenance of application enhancements Monitor test results, and make appropriate recommendations Responsible for continuing maintenance on assigned production applications *Specialized skills, knowledge or certifications unique to this role* Experience in Information Technology with demonstrated experience in application support Strong technical knowledge in Informatica. ASP.Net experience using C# within Visual Studio.Net Strong understanding of the .Net framework, XML, web services and real-time applications knowledge with Oracle and MS SQL Server as data source Strong technical knowledge in Objected Oriented methodologies, design and implementation. Experience with 2-3 tiered environments preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Development tool sets Experience in performing root cause analysis. Expertise in Oracle and Sybase database scripting.
