Title: Peoplesoft HCM Functional with Commitment Accounting exp posted on 2014-01-27 10:56:57 Job Description: Job Title:Peoplesoft HCM Functional with Commitment Accounting exp Location: Charlotte,NC. Duration:6+ months PeopleSoft HCM Core HR Subject Matter Expert Function as a PeopleSoft subject matter expert in the HCM Core HR areas. This is for the implementation of PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 Responsibilities: •Confirm and refine requirements as published, document setup and configuration as needed, develop or updated functional specifications, and assist the team in testing the product as developed and configured. •Provide application functionality, configuration and testing expertise for the Core HR module, including basic setup, Personal Data, Job Data, Position Management, and Compensation, with additional focus on Learning Management and Profile Management. •Ensure that the business office customers fully understand the impact of decisions to Business Processes made during system configuration. •Advise project team on best practices related to testing, configuration adjustments and setup of the modules above, assist in making the best strategic configuration if issues are discovered. •Ability to join a project in the testing phase, learn the design and quickly apply their knowledge of HCM to tasks as assigned using their ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet project needs. •The contractor will be expected to provide complete knowledge transfer to project team members to cover the work completed prior to the end of the contract. •Working directly with developers to ensure that functional and technical specifications for customizations meet business requirements. Requirements: •A minimum of 7 years of in-depth Business Systems Analyst experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM is required, and preference is for candidates with at least 2 years of implementation experience with version 8.9 or greater at Higher Education institutions. •This experience should have been gained working on implementation project teams, spanning multiple full lifecycle implementation projects. •Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS data structures, configuration and setup designs, and business processes within the application is required. •Familiarity with Oracle/PeopleSoft development technologies (PeopleCode, Application Designer, Component Interface, and Application Engine) sufficient to collaborate effectively with developers is desired. •Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communications skills and ability to work under pressure are required. •Experience with North American Payroll, Commitment Accounting (working knowledge a must), Talent Management (including Profile Management), particularly where integrated or related to Core HR is a plus.
