This person should be on the developer track and be a "doer" vs. at the architect level. There is a primary project of moving reporting to 1 source, but they'll eventually be moved to other projects that will require them to do tool-driven, automated regression testing and web services. They will be on a structured team of 5-10 members to include technical leads, project managers, etc. So, they are in a structured environment, and they use the Agile development methodology. This person should be able to ask the right questions. Communication skills are very important, as they will have remote interaction with their regional offices, and they also have an offshore/onshore model.*
