Position Description: The focus of this position is to perform test leadership activities on a very large project for Victoria's Secret's website. The duration of the role is approximately 2 months, and most likely will be extended until the end of the year. This role will involve working with testers and subject matter experts to identify and develop test scenarios and test cases in HP Quality Center /TestDirector, and facilitating the execution of the test cases across testers in multiple functional areas and work streams. The test lead will report status to project leadership regularly and will own theidentification and communication of any issues or risks for the testing workstream on the projects. This project will be utilizing Agile methodology concepts including test-driven development, and experience in these areas is required. In addition Design and Development is using a LeanUX approach. The testing resources allocated to this project will have varying degrees of experience with the testing process and tools to be utilized, so it will be important to effectively train and mentor these resources in order to deliver the project successfully. Position Qualifications * Manages functional testing activities on multiple IT projects, concurrently. Includes working with project leaders on resource planning and timelines, coordinating the work of multiple testing resources to develop test scenarios and test cases, facilitating test execution and defect management activities, and providing regular status to project and business leaders. * Expert in functional testing process, including test scope identification, test requirements management, test case development, test scheduling, and defect management. * Strong understanding of the Agile / Scrum SDLC methodology, including test-driven development, is required for this position. * Expert in using HP Quality Center / TestDirector for test and defect management. * Experience in using JIRA for Defect Management. * Independently documents and presents test strategies / plans to project and business leaders. * Experience leading multiple resources on projects; on-site and remote. * Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills with IT and Business audiences. * Excels at working in a project environment and on cross-functional teams. * Retail / eCommerce background is preferred. * Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience. * 5+ years experience in software testing ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks and Regards, Raj Paul Sr. Technical Recruiter Phone : 248-918-2510 EXT 1002 Email: rajp...@viprainfosystems.com IM Gtalk & Skype : rajpaul232 VipraInfoSystems |http://www.viprainfosystems.com West Big Beaver Rd.
