-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Project Goal & Objectives The objective of the project is to upgrade current Cognos version 8.4.1 which is no longer supported by IBM as of October 1, 2013 to the currently supported Cognos 10.2 or higher for all of the Business Intelligence Cognos reporting applications. These Cognos-based reporting applications support The CLIENT Global Engineering, MRP II (MAPS), LIMS, ServiceCenter and Midwest data warehouse (MWDW). Business issues or benefits this upgrade will address are: 1. Upgrade to a supported version 2. Migrate off of Solaris servers to lower cost vBlock 3.
