Title for this position: Manual Tester This position is located in Boston, MA Manual Tester Location: Boston, MA (must be on site) Duration: 6+ months, possibility up to two years Candidates are required to interview in person following a sucessful phone screen. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have experience in a public healthcare setting - for example, CDC, Board of Health, Epidemology, Disease Outbreaks, Hospitals, etc. This is a Manual Tester position, focusing on testing data for reports. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (BSEE, BSCS, BSCE) from four year college or university - Minimum of 5 years of professional QA experience - Knowledge of relational database design structure concepts - SQL statement syntax (currently the client is using SQL for reports, but they will be moving to Jasper) - JIRA - Knowledge of formalized test methodology and associated artifacts - Knowledge of test case creation and execution - Proven troubleshooting skills resulting in root cause determination - Knowledge of Agile Testing Practices and Maven are a plus Responsibilities: - Provide input for testing strategies, scope, and scenarios - Provide input for testing-related estimates of effort, duration, and resource utilization - Collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, business owners to define and document test cases, scenarios, and scripts in alignment with business and system requirements - Lead team in execution of tests, evaluates results and/or problems in a timely manner, and assist in problem resolution - Review lower environments (Development, QA) and create test data necessary for test execution - Assure functionality coded by development team adheres to business requirements and standards (ADA, security, etc) - Maintenance of test plan, test cases, and script library - Record each problem found, investigate and analyze each problem, track status of defect and verify resolution during testing life cycle - Provide reports containing test metrics and status to management team -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
