*Ruby developersLocation : Chicago,ILDuration: 6 Months*

Description:
*This position will be primarily responsible for 'back-end' development of
SPA or Hybrid SPA using Ruby
*The application is intended for use by employees to communication with
other employees and  will include integrations with 3rd party application
interfaces.
*Will work as part of a small, distributed development team.
*Will work closely with team members to define tasks, development approach,
and perform code reviews.

Experience:
*5+ years of development experience, at least 3 developing with web based
architectures.
*2+ years of hands-on experience developing with Ruby using Rails or
similar application framework.

Requirements:
*Solid Ruby fundamentals, including application design experience and
strong working knowledge of GEM ecosystem required
*Experience designing, developing, and documenting RESTful API's using
Grape or similar framework required
*Experience consuming RESTful and SOAP services required
*Working knowledge of database design required
*Demonstrable experience with web or native mobile development is a strong
plus
*Experience building high availability, Enterprise level web applications
is a strong plus
*Experience with Node.js or other alternative web technologies is a plus
*Experience with Java and Spring framework(s) is a plus
*Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is desired
