*send me resume to rame...@systelinc.com <rame...@systelinc.com>* *Position: Oracle DBA with Project Manager Exp* *Location: Atlanta, GA/Cincinnati,OH/Schenectady,NJ* *Duration: 6 Months +* *********Only GC AND Citizens************* *Job Description:* - Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence - Strong problem solving skills with the ability to detect underlying patterns, identify root causes and design optimal process solutions - Solid leadership skills (leading, influencing experience) and the technical coaching of others - Ability to influence decisions made by CIO teams through developing mutual respect so that project deliverables are completed in a timeframe acceptable to both parties. - Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure that all moving parts within both projects are monitored so that delays and bottlenecks are kept to a minimum. - Strong technical skill set in Oracle database management so that the requirements to complete upgrades through the L2 DBA teams are understood and L3 escalation point can be provided for upgrades that run into issues. - Strong verbal and communication skills so that effective reporting re project progress can be communicated to P&PS management and CIO teams. These communication skills are equally as important to schedule upgrades with CIO groups so they are aware of the impact of the work and what is required from their team. Negotiation is a key factor here in ensuring timelines are met - Strong interpersonal skills · A good knowledge of other associated pieces in the Tech Stack such as Operating system, Server, Storage and Network so that when db upgrade issues arise triage can be carried out affectively. · On the upgrade project changes need to be raised with external teams to deliver storage and HA requirements. A good knowledge of these areas is important so that wo’s are completed correctly. · Demonstrated commitment to Six Sigma and LEAN · Ensuring that the delivery of services is always in the businesses best interest and takes into account the individual business needs. · Experience in developing and managing high performance teams so that junior PM’s can be trained and developed to deliver premium upgrade service.
