Title: SAP TESTER posted on 2014-04-29 11:12:05 Job Description:Role: SAP Tester ( Retail & POS Domain) Location: Florida Duration: Long Term Quality Assurance testing and coordination of integrated testing involving SAP Retail POSDM. Candidate will be responsible to write and execute comprehensive test scripts. The position will also be responsible for coordinating data flow and validation to partner systems outside of the SAP landscape. *QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST* (Manual Test Experience) *POSITION OBJECTIVE*: As a Technology Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will be responsible for working closely with the other members of the development team and business owners to create and execute manual test plans and scenarios to ensure the quality of software products. In addition, the Software QA Analyst will be responsible for identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting defects; gathering metrics, and verifying defect fixes in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Works closely with the Development team to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed. • Writes & executes test plans and scripts, documentation of test procedures and issues. • Utilizes defect management and test tracking tools for defect logging and creation of reporting and statistics throughout the testing lifecycle • Partnership with IT leads in working through issues/defects & resolution • Overall testing completion metrics & analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management • Supports UAT – providing test data and detailed test scripts, along with documenting results of testing. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; • Minimum 3 years’ experience in software quality assurance; 5 years+ preferred. • Software quality assurance certifications preferred • Experience with automated testing tools preferred (QTP and/or Selenium) • Experience developing and coordinating testing efforts and project testing strategies • Experience with POS systems (Fujitsu POS strongly preferred) • Experience analyzing and dissecting system requirements to create and execute tests cases • Intermediate experience with software development processes. • Must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment and react to situations as they arise in the appropriate manner. • Ability to work independently or in a team environment and effectively meet project deliverables on time. • Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable. • Must be flexible and available to provide off-hours support. *QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST* (Automation Test Experience) As a Technology Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will be responsible for working closely with the other members of the development team and business owners to create and execute automated test plans and scenarios to ensure the quality of software products.
