*3+Months* *Phone then Face to Face* *USC,GC and EAD-GC only* *Job Description* The ABAP/SAP developer applies strong knowledge of ABAP create solutions addressing the current and future needs of the organization in R3, through use of BADIs, User Exists and Enhancements, data objects, and ABAP. Successful candidates will also be able to understand production business processes, and translate them to sustainable technical solutions. This role will be a key contributor within the Applications team in the long-term oversight and support of our strategic Application portfolio. *Primary Responsibilities* • Develop and implement BADIs, User Exists and Enhancement spots in the SD, MM, and FI/CO modules to meet functional requirements. Maintain functional specifications. • Support and modify Interfaces for Adobe forms and Webdynpro. • Design and development of reporting solutions using ABAP in ECC. • Perform routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, unit testing, and debugging. • Research and apply OSS Notes. • Perform systems configuration for client/system copy and provide production support for existing systems. *Qualifications* • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent discipline required. • Six plus years of prior professional consulting or equivalent industry experience in implementation of SAP system, including ABAP programming, implementing BADIs, user exits and customization. • Successful completion of at least three full life cycle implementations of an SAP and BW systems • Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies. • Experience with SAP AFS is highly desired • Working in Footwear industry is a plus • This is for a project for our Supply Chain / Logistics organization. • Currently, each product that we sell can only be found in one of the two warehouses that we ship from (Plants in SAP). • The business wants to stock the same products in both warehouses, and ship from the closest warehouse from where the sales order is shipping to. • If the product isn’t available in the closest warehouse, we want the system to automatically determine the other warehouse, if inventory is available. • We need this person to be able to partner with the business, lead the requirements gathering sessions, and design a solution to support this project requirement. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, self-starter, well organized, and has a strong understanding of the SAP AFS solution landscape especially when it comes to Order-to-Cash processes. • Additionally we want the resource to spend some time documenting our ARUN and rescheduling customizations, and look to recommend any tuning, performance or process improvements that we can make. We’ve had a number of customizations over the years, and the technical and process documentation has not been well maintained.
