Building a new data warehouse in SQL 2012 2. New product, hasn’t been launched; high-visibility with new product development team 3. This type of product is not in the industry currently 4. Highly technical manager who the existing team really respects 5. Has huge amounts of data and own a majority of the customers in their vertical *Top Skills:* · Strong ETL design and build using SSIS · T-SQL · Must be able to explain Kimball methodology · SQL 2012 Kimball/Inmon, SSIS, Cognos (nice, but not required) *Project Details:* · UDS Central Reporting team - new product, not launched yet · Strong SSIS, ETL, T-SQL · Be able to explain Kimball methodology in an interview · Building data warehouse in SQL 2012 (do not have to have 2012 experience, just heavy 2008 R2) · Building macro reporting tool that will compare/contract a portfolio of properties for executives (tool like this doesn’t exist in the market currently). Includes benchmarking capability and shows how the properties are doing. · Cognos experience would be nice but not required · Not using out of the box Cognos reports- they have a Cognos UX SME who is creating a beautiful layer over the reporting system that makes everything really unique. · Avoid folks with heavy consulting/contracting background. They need someone who’s not going to come in and try to shake things up. Be a team player, transition into the existing processes and team well. · Team highly respects Tom, the manager, he’s very technical *Description:* *ETL DEVELOPER* You will support the implementation and integration of data warehouses, data marts, and cubes. You will also perform data warehouse design and construction; perform extensive testing, as well as ETL and repository creation. This position will coordinate with other team members and managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
