*Job Title: QA QTP Tester * *Location: Glen View, IL*
*Duration: 12 months plus* *Max rate: $45/hr* *Interview Process: Telephonic Face to Face (Mandatory)* *Job Description* Work with Project, Programming, and QA managers to define and review test plans Design test plans and cases to comprehensively and efficiently test conformance to business and technical specifications and IT standards Identify functional requirements that can be automated. Create an Automation Test Plan. Covert existing functional test cases into automated test scripts. Test script should follow an automation framework based on the QA’s scripting or coding standards. Create and maintain test data and environment required for executing test plans and cases Document and communicate test results and metrics Track defect status, work with developers to reproduce and resolve defects, and execute re-tests and regression testing Develop and implement Quality assurance standards and processes Coach test teams and associates on QA processes and tools Other duties as assigned *Requirements* 5 years of IT Quality Assurance experience, including full system lifecycle (unit, integration, system, performance, regression testing) Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies Proficient in QTP as the primary automation test tool. Knowledge in Selenium is a plus. Experience in following an established automation framework and coding standards. Experience in QTP customized reporting process. Experience in IBM mainframe and web-based application environments Experience with QA management and automated testing tools (HP tools such as QTP) Experience in HP Quality Center’s software administrative activities such as version upgrade and patch application is a plus.
