Job Description:

OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT:
Global Infrastructure Development – an entity within Client’s worldwide
IT organization – provides strategic direction and engineering support in
various IT areas such as Systems, Networks, Messaging, Voice & Video,
Workstations and IT Security for the Firm on a global basis. The group has
staff located in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
OVERVIEW OF THIS POSITION:
The goal of the IT System Engineering team (part of Global Infrastructure
Development) is to design and build infrastructure that would support the
various application systems of the Firms Data collection platform.
Job Requirements: DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
Primary responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage 3 .NET based extensibility frameworks supporting
various development communities
· Participant and support multiple extended development teams globally
in their delivery of Custom application integration to the Platform
· Design, develop and implement platform wide custom development
elements to our design studio
· Coordinate with product vendors for escalated support issues
· Experience in performance tuning
· Draft and maintain systems environment documentation
Primary responsibilities percentage allocation:
· IT System Engineering - Development 60%
· IT System Engineering Function 30%
· IT Systems Support Function 10%
Skills Required:
What are the primary technical/business skill sets our consultant will use
in this engagement? (Weight the specific skills)
DESIRED SKILLS:
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple developments projects
· Experience in .NET, c#, Jscript.net, VB.NET <http://vb.net/>,
Objective C, Javascript,
ASP development
· Experience with other development technologies a plus (JAVA and
RUBY)
· Experience with Web Service/API development/Integration projects
· Experience with SOAP, REST and XML
· Experience in Agile methodolies
· Experience with SAAS service delivery and security requirments
· Experience in Data collection/Survey platforms, Data Sampling and
Native mobile application
· Administration experience in Windows, IIS 7.5
· Ability to quickly learn new technologies and determine their
applicability within Client's environment
· Excellent communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
· Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills
· Experience in ConfirmIT V17 Good knowledge of ebusiness concepts,
security, networking, messaging and load balancing
· Good knowledge of MS SQL 2012 (or 2008)
· Understanding of scheduling tools like AutoSys.
BACKGROUND AND TRAINING:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
· 5 years of industry
· 2 years Enterprise .NET development experience
