Interview process is a skype technical screening then decision by hiring
manager.

The Shell Carmon Creek Project has identified a resource requirement with
the Shell Furnished Equipment Delivery Team for a SFE Quality Engineer
working as a Data Coordinator. This individual would serve as a Focal Point
for the engineering, construction and commissioning phases from VAR 3
through project completion. This role supports coordinators and engineering
in fabricated components and engineered equipment.

Primary goals are to:
• 7+ years experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
• Experience with bringing in data from external systems and spreadsheets,
scrubbing that data for quality issues, and importing it into existing
normalized tables
• Experience with analyzing data and coming up with scripts to identify
potential quality issues.
• Experience with identifying data anomalies and communicating with
responsible parties to resolve those issues.
• Plus if has experience creating data management procedures and plans.
Plans are needed to hand to teams on what data they are responsible for,
when the data is needed, what formats the data is needed in.
• Good communication skills is a must
• Plus if any experience in Oil & Gas, Transportation/Logistics,
Procurement, or Document Control
• Quick learner on picking up business knowledge so that the data makes
sense and therefore can work well on coming up with quality scripts on
their own
• The data that will be pulled into the tables and quality checks done on
is production data and is therefore vital to teams real time. Imports will
need to be done right or there will be impacts to the teams. Decisions are
made based on charts and reports given to the leaders/managers. So good
critical thinking and attention to details are a must.
• Reporting tool experience is a plus.
• Communicate the data requirements to the parties generating information
within the designer organization.
• Co-ordinate all activities across disciplines and contracts in order to
deliver the data required.

Experience and Required skills At least 5-10 years of related experience of
supporting construction management, front-end planning, and experience
engineered equipment fabrication. Experience and knowledge of SFE solutions
and software development for Canadian Oil & Gas, Strong written, verbal and
presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills for interacting with
business clients and technical services and Process orientated with the
ability to discuss, advise, coordinate and document processes with people
from varying disciplines
