Title: Sr. Manager- Enterprise Architecture Process and Methods Program posted on 2014-09-22 17:02:38 Job Description:*Sr. Manager- Enterprise Architecture Process and Methods Program* *Milwaukee, WI 53224* *12 month contract * *W2- $81* *C2C/ 1099- $86* *Due Date- 9/22* *10 to 15 years of IT management experience with at least 5 years at a leadership level required* *Supervise up to 7 direct reports* *Primary Purpose:* Lead, develop and manage *the Enterprise Architecture Processes and Methods Program* through collaboration with Platform and Business Unit Enterprise Architects and by driving the development of program level capabilities/processes and requirements for supporting toolsets as required. *Primary Duties:* · As an Enterprise Architecture (EA) Leader and core member of the project team, this manager will act as the architecture *subject-matter-expert* in the enterprise-wide implementation of EA capabilities, processes, tools, and best practices. · In the capacity of EA Processes & Methods Program Manager this position will be responsible for the implementation of major enhancements to JCI’s standard Enterprise Architecture tools; *Troux Technologies and EA SharePoint site.* · Through leading the assigned IT Business Analyst and Cross Functional EA Project Teams, the EA Manager will provide EA capabilities, processes, and information reporting and expertise to support the Enterprise Architecture requirements and the implementation of EA by the broader JCI IT teams. · The EA Manager will lead and facilitate project teams and vendor resources to perform GAP analysis and document processes and system integration requirements. In addition, he/she will consult with EAs to gather application capabilities/functionality requirements. · In collaboration with the internal learning technology resources, this position will lead the development of training content and delivery to end-users of EA applications. · The competent EA Manager will develop the EA knowledge and capabilities needed to establish and support the enterprise-wide IT community in the implementation of EA capabilities and processes. *Job Specifications: * · *TOGAF 9 Certification and Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional Certification are required.* TOGAF- The Open Group Architecture Framework- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Open_Group_Architecture_Framework · Bachelor degree in an IT related discipline from an accredited university required. · Advance degree in an IT related discipline, or MBA is preferred. · Strong experience in portfolio management and/or Enterprise Application Architecture systems and processes required. · Experience in implementing an Enterprise Architecture application in a large complex IT organization will be a definite advantage. · Must have proven capabilities in defining implementation strategy, gathering requirements, performing gap analysis and defining solutions--mapping requirements in EA tool. *(Troux Technologies tool experience is a definite advantage.)* · Experience and proven track record of managing complex relationships across multiple geographies and cultures. · Demonstrated success managing in a matrix IT organization with many competing priorities. · Demonstrated success in developing teams to deliver outstanding results. · Demonstrable success in an enterprise level organizational change management program. · Demonstrated ability to be an effective team member working closely with colleagues from multiple teams and disciplines, bringing added value to the team. *Other Notes:* ***10 page resumes are a red flag… If someone is not skilled enough to provide a reasonable summary of their experience, I cannot see them performing an EA Process & Methods Manager role.
