*MUST HAVE EXP: SHAREPOINT, MS SQL SERVER, SSIS, SSRS * Desired Skills and Experience Must have strong skills in Cognos 10.1, 5 years experience desirable Exposure to MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2010 preferred MS SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS) MS SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) MS SharePoint Experienced in developing Business Intelligence solutions (reports, dashboards, scorecards) using Cognos and MS SSAS in a data warehousing environment. Exposure to design and implementation of ETL processes; Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples). Advanced knowledge of and OLAP/MOLAP technologies and dimensional modeling, including applicability to various reporting problems. Knowledge of any of the following would be advantageous: BI Tools including Master Data Management MDX queries MS Visual Studio; Data Warehousing methodologies Previous experience in Telecommunication (Billing and/or CRM) and Supply Chain systems ROLE DETAILS: Responsible for the end to end design, development and implementation of a data warehouse solution to support the sales, logistics, supply chain and finance functional areas for a rapidly growing mobile device distribution and services company. This role will develop data warehouse and business intelligence solutions using MS SQL server (SSIS and SSAS), Cognos and MS SharePoint platforms. This individual will provide information management leadership with emphasis on data design, access, usage and stewardship to ensure proper governance, security and quality of information assets. Deep skills in data architecture, data profiling and data cleansing processes. The successful candidate will be capable of directing a high performance team and will be accountable for the successful implementation of the data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will “Not be a simple order-taker of the requirements but will understand the business that is being served and be able to drive the solution” Promote the use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and concepts across the organization Work with user community to understand business process challenges and identify solution opportunities within Business Intelligence area. Provide support and expertise to the business community at Brightstar to assist with better utilization of Business Intelligence tools and IT solutions, for competitive advantage measures. Work with project lead and business users to understand requirements, conduct analysis and recommend solution options Translate project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications. Work with internal resources during development phases to ensure appropriate knowledge transfer; Develop, implement and maintain test strategies and plans Design and implement master data management system Skills: Design and implement the data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within the DW/BI environment Participate in data governance for Organization’s core source systems to ensure reporting requirements can be met Identify data quality issues and support the data governance initiative by participating in necessary activities including data profiling.
