*Business Analyst /Data Analyst:Boston,MA6+ months contract* Business Analyst /Data Analyst: The BA/Data Analyst is to possess the ability to translate user data requirements including source data logic, transformation and final data element transformation logic into data mapping documents for various project based work. *The individual is to be able to interpret complex copybooks, XML schemas and database schemas.* *Meet with a broad range of users and capture their decision support requirements and current state of decision support. The individual will prepare data warehouse requirements documents and specifications such as use cases, data flow diagrams and narratives, and data mapping documents.* The individual will review and elicit these requirements from the business units and translate them into specifications and design for use by the Data Warehouse development team. The individual will validate the quality of data and work to improve data quality through data profiling, data analysis and assisting the Data Stewarts in the Data Governance efforts. The Data Analyst will is expected to be knowledgeable and work with various query and data access tools. The individual will act as a consultant to the ETL developers. In addition, he/she will help data modelers prepare models and review models to ascertain /determine that requirements are met.
