*REQUIREMENT DETAILS* Position: ALM QC Administrator Location: NYC, NY Need Locals Only Duration: Long Term Description: The Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Administrator is responsible for Quality Center (QC) administration, migration and customization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Hewlett-Packard QC/ALM environment design, implementation administration, upgrade and operations. They will participate in designing , developing, implementing and maintaining a cost effective, long-term testing strategy and framework promoting reusable components, low maintenance costs, high efficiency and scalability. Facilitate in the integration opportunities for the manual and automated test tools. Responsibilities § Managing, improving and driving Quality Center usage, best practices and enhancements for Information Services Quality Assurance (QA) organization. § Uses analytical skills, advanced knowledge of VBScripting, Structured Query Language (SQL) and Excel Macro to perform complex workflow analysis as well as capture, analyze and communicate metrics for the Information Services QA organization. § Collaborates with various internal teams (QA team, IS teams) and external (business units) teams on improvement efforts and reporting on trends. § Serves as liaison with the teams, vendors, the Business and the Business Analysts on technical issues and approaches as well as recommends quality improvements. § Understands and contributes to long-term product and system vision from the business perspective and is responsible for the technical roadmap activities for ALM and assuring that any new development being done to the platform aligns with the roadmap. § Provides deep functional and technical application expertise on the ALM team. § Stays up to date on ALM best practices and new technology developments. § Works closely with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team to assure the ALM team is correctly aligned with EA direction. § Creates and presents ALM Architecture proposals to the EA team when incoming requirements propose a change in System Architecture or a new application. Minimum Qualifications § Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. § Certification in Hewlett-Packard Quality Center (HPQC) or Hewlett-Packard Application Lifecyle Management (HP ALM) Integration. § Experience working with Hewlett-Packard Application Lifecyle Management (HP ALM),Quality Testing Tools, Sharepoint. § Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Structured Query Language (SQL), MySQL and Oracle. § Experience using Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, complex formulas, macros knowledge and vlookups. § Experience designing, implementing, administering, upgrading and operating in HP Quality Center (QC) and ALM environment. § Experience collecting and deriving Information Technology metrics, PPT and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). § Experience in tool configuration and administration including user administration. § Experience performing Quality Center administration, migration and customization. § Knowledge of QA processes and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. § Experience documenting processes as well as using VB Scripting and any additional scripting languages. § Experience in manual testing and QA testing activities including test planning, test case design, test execution and defect management.
