Will be required to act as liaison between the business user's community, the IT infrastructure, Vendor, or varies other teams to communicate issues and coordinate resolutions to issues in production. Will be expected to troubleshoot and document steps and parameters surrounding issues reported in production environment. Candidate will be responsible for developing and testing code fixes for. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating implementation of fixes into the production environment. Be able to follow rigorous system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management best practices, comply with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other processes related to regulatory or compliance requirements, and adhere to change control and problem management procedures. Tasks and Responsibilities: This individual will be performing production Support for our Imaging and Workflow systems. They will need to be able to diagnose environmental and application issues. This individual will work with the IT department as well as business users to determine cause and resolutions to application issues that arise in production. This individual will also be responsible for developing and testing out production fixes in the production fix environment to ensure they have resolved an issue as well as ensure production fixes do not cause other issues. Documenting work and troubleshooting processes. A key component of the job will involve utilizing standard project management tools, following SDLC and SOX procedures. Individual will be responsible for implementing changes into the production environment as well as following Corporate Change Control processes and procedure. -Resolves application and technical problems. -Participates on project teams. -Analyzes performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software and/or application components. -Able to work collaboratively with IT staff on troubleshooting, and other technical efforts. -Will need MS Visual C++ 6.0, VB6.0, SQL Server and Oracle knowledge -Strong MS SQL skills a must Required education/experience: -Bachelor's / Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. -1 to 3 years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis Skills Required: VISUAL C++ (VC++), VISUAL BASIC (VB), Microsoft SQL SERVER, SQL, ORACLE *ASHOK ITEK SOLUTIONS INC.
