Technical Lead- Master Data Design & Engineering This position is responsible for the technical oversight, advisement, and quality control of Master Data Development projects. Along with technical proficiency in Oracle and related architectures, concepts and processes is required. Working knowledge of Extract Transform and Load (ETL) procedures, technologies and techniques is also prerequisite. Technical leads typically develop technical approaches and ensure that proper guidelines and standards are followed on assigned projects. Technical leads can also be responsible for leading projects and managing the assigned resources within the context of the assigned project. To that end, Project leadership, planning and organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment complete the requirements for success in this demanding position. Typical tasks and duties: - Provide accountability, along with project manager, for meeting deadlines and deliverables related to assigned projects. - Participate in design, code review, architecture and planning meetings. - Provide status reporting to the Engineering Manager and partner with architecture, Business Information and Configuration Management/Support teams to ensure quality implementations and the rollout of standardized and supportable code. - Mentoring, training and teaching developers on proper MDM techniques, standards and guidelines. - Creating Change Control Requests as required by assigned projects and ensuring end to end quality of assigned projects.
