Position:Data Warehouse Architect Location: NYC Duration: Months Contract Personnel will help establish the strategic data warehouse architecture. Contract personnel translate the future vision of the warehouse into an architecture that supports the extensibility and scalability required for a data warehouse. Contract Personnel may develop all strategies for the data warehouse, specifically data acquisition, data quality, metadata, warehouse administration, database design, data access, technical architecture and integration. Contract personnel provides input to more detailed technical design efforts such as data acquisition, metadata, and data access ensuring compatibility with the overall data warehouse architecture. Contract personnel outline the data warehouse functions and how each is supported. Contract personnel works closely with the technical architect to ensure the physical layers of the architecture are consistent with, and fully support, the data warehouse vision. This synergism includes scoping and planning the project through to the final architecture deliverables and client review. Contract personnel also provide direction and expertise on warehouse management specifications and workflow as well as assists with evaluating and selecting warehouse administration tools.
