This is *Bakher* from *Namtra Business Solutions,Inc.* Please look into the requirment and send me your consultants Updated resume along with contact details to [email protected] Please give me a call if you have any questions #703-659-1576. *Position: Business Objects SME Lead* *Duration: 1+ Year * *Location: Alexandria, VA* ** *JOB DESCRIPTION:* ** *Description/Required:* ** SQL (a must), * **Relational RDBMS, * UNIX, * Oracle 10 or later, * MS Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel, etc.), * IBM Data Quality tool (a plus), * Ability to analyze data migration plan to include mapping of source to target databases, * Enterprise Data Architecture, * Federal Enterprise Data Reference Model, * IBM Rational (nice to have), * MS SQL Server (nice to have), and * Documentum (nice to have) * * * *- Business Objects SME Lead (BO Products for Reporting, Data Architecture, Warehousing and Apps)* - Person must have ability to make recommendations on existing architecture* - Excellent Communication Skills ( e.g., Excellent written and verbal communication skills acquired via customer service work). - Excellent Verbal Communication Skills includes ability to establish a professional rapport with customers; be a good listener and obtain required information; see things from another person's perspective; express knowledge in a clear, simple manner; explain technical matters to non-technical people; and be able to uphold the interests of the data quality program and convince others by making valid and relevant points in a professional manner. - Excellent Written Communication Skills includes ensuring text is accurate and is expressed in clear, straightforward manner. *The types of technical consulting support the Contractor will provide include, but are not limited to: * * Provide data quality analysis and profiling support such as: o Study business rules, o Identify duplicate records or data o Validate address conformity to standard and suggest corrections, o identify null or incomplete data,. o Identify data patterns, o Verify conversions and transformations of data, o Calculate statistical distribution, and o Identify and report on data quality trends. * Assist developments in data migrations, conversions, consolidation, integration, and warehousing for various AISs. * Prepare data quality artifacts, including: data analysis, data quality assessment, data profiling, and data mining plans; and findings. * Review and document existing CLIENT business processes and rules to access, analyze, and ensure data quality in CLIENT databases. * Provide technical assistance with installation, configuration, and usage of the IBM data quality tool, and others listed in the CLIENT Technical Reference Model (TRM). * Assist in developing a monitoring system to ensure quality of CLIENT enterprise metadata stored in the enterprise information repository. * Assist in enhancing the data quality analysis steps in CLIENT Technical Standards and Guidelines, and Data Quality Management guidelines for developers. * Perform baseline data quality assessments on databases used in legacy and development systems as required using all data quality tools listed in the CLIENT TRM. * Perform data quality improvement activities, including data cleansing and data standardization. * Notify the CLIENT of areas for data re-engineering opportunities and for data quality enforcement. * Provide recommendations on data quality assessments for selected databases used in CLIENT legacy systems. *This may include:* 1. Identify the functional user's data quality requirements and establish data quality metrics that are acceptable to business users. 2. Measure conformance to current business rules; and 3.
