Documentum Specialist - Business Analyst

Location: Manhattan, NY

Status: 6 months Contract

Interviewing processes: Phone Screen and Inperson interview required



Duties and Responsibilities:



He/she will lead and facilitate workshop to review requirements,
define business processes, gap analysis, functional design etc. He/she
will lead the design of solutions and monitor all the day-to-day
operational issues; lead testing of solutions; review and correct
systems and procedural errors, and other duties as may be required.



Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

 a.. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or
related field.
 b.. Minimum of five (7) years of experience in Information and
Communication Technology (ICT), including at least three (5) in EMC
Documentum projects
 c.. Extensive background in Documentum implementation and
integration in the areas of Document Management, Digital Asset
Management, Business Process Management
 d.. Experience in Documentum architecture, design, development and
deployment


Solid hands-on experience and expertise in the following:

 a.. Facilitate workshops, gather user requirements and translate
them into application design.
 b.. Applications development, installation and configuration of
hardware and Documentum software.
 c.. EMC Documentum (R6) architecture and design, development, and
deployment
 d.. Java development using Documentum Foundation Classes, DQL, and API.
 e.. Integration with third party systems.
 f.. Ability to design, modify and manage simple and complex workflows
 g.. Ability to diagnose and correct Documentum problems (including
indexing, searching, poor performance)
 h.. Proficiency Documentum application design, security, performance
tuning and supporting IT infrastructure
 i.. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.


Desirable Skills:

 a.. Knowledge of VMware infrastructure concepts and methodologies
 b.. Working knowledge of Oracle and/or MS SQL DMBS
 c.. Supporting Documentum software and IT infrastructure.
 d.. Developing user support materials and documentation.
 e.. Applying system patches & code fixes.
 f.. Developing and maintaining system documentation.
 g.. Knowledge of IT Project Management methodologies and best practices
