*Location: San Francisco, California* *Rate: Open* * * *Government experience is mandatory* * * *Job Duties:* · Develop an inventory of existing independent software licenses that are candidates for consolidation to branch-wide licenses. · Assist in the development of detailed business requirements for Request for Proposals (RFPs) from vendors. Facilitate working sessions and enforce standards related to vendor business proposals. Participate in vendor negotiations and serve as liaison with ISD and Business Services as necessary throughout the RFP process (through contract execution). *Required Skills:* - Overall IT experience – a minimum of 10 years experience is required - *IT Project Management experience – a minimum of 7 years is required * - Extensive experience coordinating working sessions with various technical and non-technical groups and developing business cases for branch-wide/enterprise-wide license agreements - Experience coordinating, reviewing, evaluating and assisting in the development of detailed business requirements for Request for Proposals (RFP) for branch-wide/enterprise-wide license agreements. - Key consideration will be given to *candidates with project management experience within a governmental procurement processes* and recent experience and expertise with projects of a similar type. - Previous experience with managing contracts through a governmental procurement processes. - Familiarity and experience in the development of branch or enterprise-wide Request for Proposals for software licenses. - Ability to identify and evaluate alternative solutions, costs and benefits, and develop solid business case reporting. - Ability to analyze and compare vendor Request for Proposals. - Knowledge of the principles of system design, implementation, and development.
