Position: QA Analyst

Duration: 3+Months

Location: Downtown, DC

Rate: $30/ hr (MAX---*NO NEGOTIATION*)


We have a new requirement for a QA Analyst with one of our clients located
in Downtown, DC.



   - Go-To-Interviews next week!! – Confirming Wed. or Thurs.
   - Metro Accessible by ways of both the Farragut North / Farragut West
   stations (Red, Orange and Blues lines)
   - Duration: 3 Months Contract w/ option of extension
   - Excellent Communication (written and verbal) are a MUST.
   - *Max Rate is $30/hr Corp to Corp *

*QA Analyst*

General Description:

* *

The QA Analyst will be responsible for the successful execution and
documentation of test cases. The analyst will also be directly involved in
test case preparations and development.

The position requires the QA Analyst to be flexible in work schedule and
occasionally work after regular business hours to assist with the on-time
delivery of project work.



*Work Experience Requirements: *



   - 3+ years of quality assurance testing
   - Working knowledge of SQL
   - Knowledge of web-based application testing
   - Knowledge of at least one programming language
   - Familiarity with automated testing tools
   - Working knowledge of Agile methodologies

*Job Details: *

 Test Plan Development

-           Assist the QA Manager in writing the test plan document and
soliciting feedback from all relevant parties



*Test Case Development*

-           Work directly with development team and others to understand
technical requirements

-           Assist in writing test cases to address each technical
requirement area and all related regression areas

-           Work with QA Manager to refine test cases



*Test Case Execution*

-           Work with QA Manager to plan and execute all needed test cases

-           Fully document results of each test case execution

-           Report results to the appropriate parties

-           Document and track reported defects



*Project Management*

-           Work with QA Manager to refine and improve QA processes and
documentation

-           Provide demo documentation for clients



*Team Responsibilities*

-           Regularly attend team meetings in person

-           Actively participate in all team meetings and planning sessions
