*RESPONSIBILITIES : *
Analyze test automation scripts used on the client’s legacy test ,management
platform (written in Java), create corresponding scripts in the client’s
Mercury Quick Test Pro & Quality Center environments; test, validate, &
debug these scripts
*QUALIFICATIONS: *
*Required Skills *
- *Deep knowledge (i.e., 10+ years experience) of Mercury QC Test
Management, QC Test Automation, Quick Test Pro – understanding of their
usage, strengths and weaknesses** ***
- *Thorough knowledge of the VB-based OTA API used by the Mercury tools
listed above** ***
- *Experience using these products to produce automated tests integrated
with the QC Test Management tools to test Win32 applications** ***
- *Understanding of how these tools can be used to test applications
running on other platforms (Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, zOS)** ***
- *Strong English-language proficiency and communication skills (both
written- and verbal) are a MUST** ***
Knowledge of Java language & programming techniques (sufficient skill level
to read and understand existing Java scripts)
- Experience using the Mercury tools listed above in a production
environment
- Experience using the Mercury tools listed above to produce
platform-independent automated tests that run on multiple platforms (Win32,
Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, zOS)
Experience with HP's implementation of these tools strongly favored
