Manages and directs the activities of the combined technical architecture
and dba teams.

Manages and directs operational activities including hardware, network, and
database surrounding support across all of managed applications

Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in all areas of Technical Infrastructure,
including:



PeopleSoft and PeopleTools

LINUX

Oracle Relational Database

Batch Scheduling

Infrastructure Capacity and

Performance Tuning



*Job Roles and Responsibilities *



Provide leadership to the

global technical organization and advocates its relationship to the
application team and our key client executives.

Managing the implementation and operation of technical components for all
projects

Manages the team effort including developing work plans and budgets,
preparing

schedules, estimating the effort, reporting status, and ensuring that
standard procedures are performed.

Ensure that the infrastructure design and hardware capacity requirements are
integrated with application requirements

Coordinate with application support manager(s) to establish and manage
operating level agreements for

application performance and availability

Manage key vendors and 3rd

Party Participants to ensure infrastructure requirements are continually met




Ensure all communication processes are established between infrastructure
group and application

support team.



Required Skills:

Functional / Technical



• Held technical architecture/DBA leadership roles in at least 3 full life
cycle implementations

of PeopleSoft Financials

• Held technical architecture/DBA leadership roles in application
maintenance of PeopleSoft

Financials

• Deep understanding of existing technical architecture & infrastructure

• Solid understanding of ERP architecture design and implementation

• Solid understanding of PeopleSoft Financials applications



Business / Industry

• Strong knowledge of operational best practices and methodologies

• Awareness of current trends for all infrastructure components

• Hospitality Industry knowledge a plus



Leadership

• Ability to foster teamwork and build morale

• Demonstrated coaching skills.

• Strong supervisory

• Provide strong voice to client executives



Professional

• Solid project management skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Good decision making skills



Education:

• BS in Computer Science or related discipline

• MS/MBA desired but not necessary



Miscellaneous:

• Must live in Atlanta, GA or be willing to move

• Must be able to travel at least 25% of time
