Position: WebMaster (to maintain internal and External Facing Website) Duration: 6 months Location: Sacramento, CA Start Date: Immediate Details: Client need s of webmaster who will be responsible for maintaining both private (internal) and public (external) facing web sites. The webmaster will be responsible for ensuring the quality and availability of the web sites for which he/she is responsible. The webmaster will work with many different people both inside and outside the organization therefore the ability to work and communicate well with others will be an important skill the webmaster must possess. The webmaster shall: • Ensure sites are checked for bugs or other problems such as images that do not load properly; • Validate the links on the site regularly to make sure that they are in working order • Monitor visits to the site to determine if the site needs to be upgraded to handle increased use. • Through monitoring traffic on the sites, the webmaster also tracks how often various pages, features, and links are used. This information is used to update the Web site to make it more appealing and functional. • Keeps abreast of new technology, understand how to implement it, and knows which technologies will enhance the Web sites.
