*Citizen/GreenCard/EAD* *ARC GIS Project Manager* Location: Portland, OR Start Date: June 8, 2009 End Date: December 7, 2009 Hours of Work: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM *Interview: Personal* * * *SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * * In-depth knowledge of project management processes is required. * Applicant must lead the development of project scope definitions, manage and report progress on project budget, schedules and resources, report risks and develop/implement contingency plans, facilitate team, conduct team meetings, develop tasks, assign roles and responsibilities. * Applicant must have strong organizational skills and must be self-motivated in addition to having strong communications, collaboration, and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task. * Applicant relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. * Previous experience with data analysis for web mapping applications is required. * Knowledge of wire frames, swimlane diagrams, and flowcharting to elucidate business processes is required. * Knowledge of agile software development and project management processes is required; XP and Scrum are particularly attractive. * Previous web mapping software experience is preferred, preferably in an ESRI environment. * Fluency in gathering requirements in a large, complex organization is desirable. * Ability to formalize requirements utilizing UML diagrams is attractive, but not required. * Quality control capabilities with 5 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area is desirable. * * *Experience with software such as: *ArcGIS 9.X, DB2, and SQL Server.
