Senior Java/SOA Consultant Skills - Chordiant Java, SOA, Jbuilder 9 Enterprise Edition Location: Richmond, VA
Note: Please send in profiles only with 8+ yrs exp Required skills/experience: - Three or more years as a Senior Developer in a complex Chordiant Application. - Eight years or more experience in Java and other Client/Server development - Eight or more years as a Developer in an SOA environment - Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Jbuilder 9 Enterprise Edition - Understanding and experience with industry standard analysis, documentation and development tools such as SQL, RAD, Jprobe, Junit, RUM and Object Modeling. - Ability to perform complex analysis, design, development and unit testing. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to negotiate effectively. - Ability to perform presentations and facilitate meetings to effective results. - Ability to work in teams and in a virtual environment. Any Healthcare Insurance Industry experience is a plus. You will: - Be responsible for the technical analysis, design and programming for complex business applications. - Participate in and lead all aspects of the SDLC for application development and application support. - Work with clients and BSAs to understand requirements and develop application changes that meet business need in a creative and productive manner. - Provide technical expertise and business knowledge, as well as architectural and infrastructure direction. - Provide clear instructions to DBAs, Infrastructure service ops, EIS, networks, IVR, and other technical IT upon which the application depends. - Provide subject matter expertise and leadership to contractors and partners assisting in application support. - Work with architecture to define applications solutions. - Document all work.
