Location : Burbank, CA Duration : 6 + Months Qualifications: . Expert knowledge of JAVA technologies, such as servlets, JDBC, JSP . Experience working with multiplayer game servers and real-time communication systems, such as Smartfox, Electroserver, Red5, Darkstar, Jabber, etc. . Experience with ANT and Maven build tools, automated testing and continuous integration . BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience . 5+ years experience in object-oriented software development Pluses: . MMO server-side development experience . Deep understanding of networking and protocols, including ability to research RFCs and use them to tune and debug applications . Proven ability to problem solve and debug in distributed systems that feature high traffic, high currency and shared state . Understanding of technologies and strategies for scalable data management, e.g. coherence, memcached, teracotta, and database partitioning . Proven ability to collaborate with client-side developers and architects to achieve smooth feature roll outs and solid, maintainable, testable applications end to end . Experience with MySQL preferred, with exposure to emerging technologies, like NDB, a plus .
