Local to Portland, OR preferred.
12 months contract

Position 1:
The person in this position will work on various projects and application
maintenance tasks
The person is responsible for:
Participating in requirements review to ensure understanding of business
requirements. Providing information and feedback, as needed.
1 Implementing the system architecture, with regard to the environment
and application framework for the project.
2 Developing technical design specifications as needed.
3 Performing technical duties for the project including, but not
limited to:
Facilitating estimation and scheduling of technical tasks
1 Reviewing and facilitating resolution of technical problems, issues,
changes
2 Identifying and enacting any abstraction and refactoring required
Designing, developing, testing and deploying SQL code and scripts within a
SQL Server environment.
1 Designing, developing, testing and deploying C# code in a .NET
environment.
2 Training and mentoring technical team members to increase technical
skills and knowledge.
3 Supporting build and deployment processes using unit testing,
continuous integration, code coverage and build scripts.
4 Implementing interfaces with 3rd party software and external
partners
5 Producing technical support documentation for the products.
6 Providing technical support for the implemented components.
The following are* required*.
- 4 years Visual Studio .NET experience, including experience with .Net
3.5
- 4 years ASP.NET experience
- 4 years ADO.NET experience
- 4 years C# and/or VB.NET experience
- 4 years XML experience
- 5 years SQL experience with SQL Server in writing stored procedures,
including experience with SQL Server 2005
- 5 years of IIS experience with a history of ASP development.
Experience with IIS 6.0
- Automated unit test experience (NUNIT, TFS)
- Ability to work well in a team. Specifically, must be able to
mentor both senior and junior developers.
- Ability to work well with end users, technical peers and management.
