*Job Description:*
Support & Deliver Strategic Roadmap
- Support Relationship Managers and other Business Owners in evaluating
capabilities and strategies that align with 2009 – 2012 goals.
- Identify list of desired business capabilities, Analyze to partition &
compartmentalize capabilities appropriately as per impacts to AS-IS business
processes.
- Define Conceptual-TO-BE in terms of changes to Business Architecture
(Processes, People and Facilities), Technology Architecture (Systems and
Application in place to support)
- Communicate and deliver a single company vision from horizontally and
vertically.
- Identify areas of commonality
- Identify risks, issues, impacts and interdependencies at the macro level
- Help maximize the value of investments
- Feasibility analysis of business strategies/ideas
- Develop and refine Carefirst’s Business Architecture capability/repository
- Extract and translate business strategy into business architectural
requirements.
Support Corporate Initiative Delivery Teams
- Examine concept feasibility
- Produce conceptual business architecture solution, overview functions and
features by completing assigned Business Architecture sections of the
following artifacts: Project & Discovery Charter and Solution Architecture
packages.
- Review conceptual architecture design to ensure business functions and
features are being delivered.
- Identify operational readiness needs and work with Business Owners to
identify gaps prior to deployment.

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Masters Degree in CS or
equivalent experience.
•* 10+ years of experience with Business Architecture in healthcare or
financial industry and have strong to advanced technology background. *
• *8-10 years experience with healthcare systems applications, network
design and architecture design. *
• The ability to interface across several channels, acting as a visionary,
to assist, proactively in developing project direction.
• Strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship
management.
• Must possess the qualities, skills, business acumen, experience, and
discipline to ensure business and systems architecture alignment.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated ability to manage SDLC processes.
• Demonstrated awareness of new systems technologies and how they could be
leveraged to benefit the company, customers and providers, new business
strategies and corporate initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
• Experience with Process/Data Modeling and gathering data in helping
develop Strategic Roadmaps.
• Experience with multi-system/platform program integration.
• Must be self motivated and able to work independently.
