SOA developer needed with experience in technical design & development of Java / J2EE applications in a large scale Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience developing Web Applications in the Java software development environment using industry-standard architectural and coding standards. Candidate must be able to work independently or in a multi-organizational team environment. Job Requirements: 5+ years of full development life cycle experience -- from architecture through test and deployment, and cross platform skills. Essential skills: Java/J2EE, Webshpere, XML, XSLT,SOAP, Spring, Hibernate Software development expertise to include object-oriented design and programming (OOD, OOP), user interface/front-end development (HTML, CSS), business object/component development, and database programming. Experience developing Web-based applications based on model-view-controller (MVC) design patterns and Java frameworks such as Struts and Spring desired. Experience with object-relational mapping tools such as Hibernate also required. Assist the in-house architect in the Web Services/Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Enterprise Server Bus (ESB) space. The ability to understand software architectures and design from Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams is desired. Experience with database design and modeling is desired, preferably with Oracle. Ability to communicate technical solutions to project management and the rest of the SOA development team.
