Job Description:

This consulting position will provide day to day support of electronic
trading applications in a support role utilizing a Tandem-based skillset
with knowledge of Linux/UNIX. The requirements are as follows:

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in direct
support or development of Tandem-based applications, administration, or
infrastructure. Ideally the candidate would have hands-on experience with
3rd party agent

based software (i.e. HP OVO, UC4). Candidate must have excellent customer
service and communication skills. The ability to communicate well across
multiple departments is required to facilitate problem resolution and
escalation of environment

issues. Qualified candidates must be a quick learner and self sufficient.

Working experience with TIBCO would be helpful. This candidate will have
worked in a fast paced dynamic environment which requires excellent customer
service skills.  Clearcase, Java, and Weblogic experience is highly
desirable.

The duties for this candidate are as follows:

1. Support designers and programmers for electronic trading systems match
engine and supporting infrastructure.
2. Support existing development/QA platforms and interfaces with users to
determine where improvements or enhancements are needed to better serve
their needs.

3. Interface with CME departments and assist with modifications required to
support enterprise-wide system changes.
4. Facilitate QA life-cycle testing of match engines, or support systems
releases and work with development teams to assess the scope of potential
environment problems.

5. Monitor system utilization and recommend environmental enhancements or
modifications as needed, weighing current and future needs as demand
dictates.

6. Define and document infrastructure support processes.
7. Lead problem resolution or opportunity identification efforts in support
of exchange initiatives.
8. Provide technical advice to management as new technologies emerge and
evolve.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve break fix related issues assigned from Ticket
tracking system.
